We have lift - off...!!!!!

Got to work this morning to find the lift was still broken, so quickly decamped back home to work on projects for the Preview weekend. After 15 million phone calls ( OK slight exaggeration there) the lift was finally repaired for 4 o'clock. Yayy..!!! we could start finally unloading the van.

I hadn't been in the studio all day and was greeted by the sight of my lillies all opened up and smelling gorgeous.
Here's a few sneaks for Preview weekend.

Cool eh...!!! Come along on Sat/Sun to see them all in person.
It was regular Tuesday ladies class tonight. I suddenly realised Anita and Su were missing from the class. I found them in the shop helping The Goddess unpack and restock. Told you I had the best ladies ever. lol

Better late than never...!!

I know its late but here's day 2 of The Great Northern Papercrafts Extravaganza. We started with breakfast workshops again. Today was a lot calmer than the 29 students of Saturday and I didn't have to race around like a mad woman. Not sure if anyone could tell the difference though lol.

The lovely Georgina and her daughter Jo were on the class , and brought me a lovely candle for mum.

Talking of pressies, on Saturday Jackie brought me something to try and fill my "hole", lol

and Pat brought me a mug for the collection. Thanks all of you. xx

So here we go with shoe watch. Sue was devastated that she wasn't wearing nice shoes so sent me in a pic of her faves. How fab are they...???

These were forgotten from Sat ( thanks for the muffin and the card girls xx)
Jo has to go one better with snazzy tights as well, they,d last 2 mins with me lol.

Amanda was making a guest appearance on the Practical stand and had these little beauties to show.

Pink are always a big hit.

Sooooooo comfy looking.

Me and Kate, twinnies. How come mine look twice the size...??? Plus how come she got bigger ribbons. ?? Not happy...!!!

The gorgeous C & C were dressed for comfort.
And Steffi was as glamorous as always.

I have to say this is the only way to travel at a show...!!!

Here's some grunge, spritzed, painted and inked.

And more samples

Breakdown is always a nightmare, but we did it , with the help of bezzie Su, who came straight from the day job. Because as you all know "yes she is a professional woman"...
We decamped to mine for a welcoming cup of tea. We had a short debate about hitting the town and dancing the night away and quickly dismissed it lmao

And so to today. Hilarious...!!! That's all I can say. We came to unload the van , to find the lift was stuck on the 15 th floor, which is amazing as we only actually have 3 floors. lol. So how do you get a massive van load of fittings and stock up 4 flights of stairs. Answer is you cant , you just have to wait for the lift to be mended. But when is the 64 dollar question. Meanwhile visitors to the shop, be warned , it is practically empty. No sales counter, not a lot of stock, no till. Oops , sorry about that. Hopefully normality ( or as much as we can at ours ) will return asap. Fingers crossed. xx

Off and running!!

Well the day got off to a cracking start with the early breakfast workshops. As usual it was fast and frenzied and full of fun. I was ably assisted by my bezzie Su and the Goddess. Then its a mad dash round to get to the stand and demo as the rest of the customers pour in.
The Resident Bit of Glamour, The Goddess and the lovely Anita were our glamorous assistants of the day. Ben was kept busy on the till from the word go, which always ensures he is in a good mood.

Making a guest appearance on our stand was the gorgeous Kirsty Wiseman, debuting her latest product, The Patti Picklicious Cd. I think this is her new demoing strategy!!!!!

It is a printables cd for card makers. It contains over 200 printable pages of papers, tags motifs and templates and it went down a storm.
I am slowly converting her to messy inky painty stuff ( its only taken me 3 yrs ) and even now I am concerned that she is just humouring me, lol. I made her a tag that she has promised me she will treasure for ever and ever and ever (yeah right).

Here's some more samples of what i was demoing. Dabbers, spritzers, pearls Distress, grunge. You name it I demoed it, lol

This is how it gets at the end of a long day, lol.
Bezzie Su came up with a good idea today, Customer Shoe watch. Just check this lot out!!

Loved, loved , loved these.

But these were my personal favourites.
If you are coming to the show tomorrow, get your best shoes on and come and see us.
We piled round to the girlies after for a Chinese. Not that we were up to much chatting. Imagine our horror when we discovered that the clocks go forward an hour tonight. WHAT!!!!!!! an hour less sleep, how could they do this to us. I only get about 2 hrs these days anyway, lol.

So I,ve taught, I,ve demoed, I,ve chatted, Ive educated, I,ve amused, I,ve inked, I,ve laughed, I,ve cried (of course), I,ve socialised, I,ve visited, I,ve eaten, I,ve shopped (Easter Eggs-Sainsburys-2 for £2), I,ve blogged, and now I,ve got to go cos I,ve passed out!!!
See you there tomorrow to do it all again xx
